It was a painful Saturday evening for Merthyr as they crashed out of the WRU National Cup semi-finals to a last-gasp try from RGC 1404 wing Sam Jones at Pontypridd’s Sardis Road.
And for ex- Gloucester, Wasps and London Welsh full-back the Martyn Thomas the agony was felt a bit more than most at The Ironmen as reported by Wales Online.
