What England Sevens stars are doing after they were made redundant

The Sevens players. who don't receive any government funding, have launched a crowd-funding scheme to aid their preparations for next year.

They've so far raised £13,965 as they continue to seek alternative sources of funding to help give them the best shot of achieving an Olympic medal in Tokyo, 2021.

Tom Mitchell: Rugby coaching, corporate performance coaching

Ben Harris: Senior academy contract at Saracens

Will Muir: Signed XVs contract at Bath

Charlton Kerr: Signed XVs contract at London Irish

Dan Norton: Signed XVs contract at London Irish

Richard de Carpentier: Coaching in a school and on private basis

Ethan Waddleton: Recovering from knee surgery

Tom Emery: Skills and attack coach at St Joseph’s College, Ipswich

Alfie Johnson: Studying economics, Newcastle University

Will Hendy: Studying at Brunel University, Farm work and Ealing Trailfinders academy

Will Edwards: Chemistry teacher and tutor

Ollie Lindsay-Hague: Recovering from shoulder surgery

Mike Ellery: Oil broker

Harry Glover: Financial studies
