Jamie George nears Saracens exit
Reports in France have backed up a report from The Rugby Paper that Jamie George is in advanced talks with Clermont over a move to the Top 14 ahead of the 2023/24 season. The England hooker is out of contract next summer.
Morozov signs until the end of the season
Bath have confirmed that the Russian prop has signed for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.
The loosehead prop originally re-joined the Blue, Black and White on a short-term injury cover loan but will remain part of Johann van Graan’s squad, strengthening the club’s front row options.
Dan Biggar joins Toulon
Northampton Saints have confirmed that Dan Biggar will depart the Club with immediate effect, at the fly-half’s request.
The Club announced earlier this month that the 33-year-old Wales international would be leaving cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens at the end of the 2022/23 campaign, but Biggar now joins French Top14 side RC Toulon effective from the start of November.
Josh Hathaway joins Gloucester
Scarlets have confirmed that full-back Josh Hathaway has been released from the Scarlets Academy for personal reasons.
Hathway, who is studying at Hartpury College, has signed a contract with Gallagher Premiership side Gloucester to join their senior academy. We wish Josh well for the future.
