Ashley Johnson set to return to Premiership on short-term deal

South African hooker Ashley Johnson is set to re-join Wasps on a short-term deal, just a month after he departed the club.
The hooker will join Birmingham Moseley as a player-coach for next season, but could return to the Ricoh Arena on a short-term deal due to an injury crisis.
Johnson, making 198 appearances for the club over eight seasons, only missing out on his double century due to the enforced postponement of the season
The club confirmed on Monday that they are searching a 'short-term fix' after losing both Tommy Taylor and Gabriel Oghre to injury during in the 27-23 win at Bath.
It leaves Wasps with two fit hookers, Tom Cruse and Alfie Barbeary, with five games in four weeks remaining plus the possibility of a play-off semi-final and final to follow.
According to RUCK sources, there is a call between Johnson and the club scheduled in for this afternoon with a view to a deal being complete very quickly.

His father, Sireli Matavesi, who is from Vanua Balavu, Lau Islands, Fiji, toured the United Kingdom as a Fiji Barbarian in 1987 where he met his wife, Karen.
5. Hamish Watson
One of the most consistent back-rowers in the Six Nations, Watson has accumulated 32 caps since making his Scotland debut in 2015. The flanker was actually born in Manchester, making him eligible to play for England.
