Transfer Rumour: Matt Banahan rejects Bath and is signing for Premiership rivals

Bath reportedly offered their longest-serving player Matt Banahan a new two-year deal and gave him a deadline to make a decision
That deadline has since passed and the 30-year-old hasn’t agreed to the terms despite the clubs best efforts.
It had since been reported that Gloucester and Bristol could be interested in recruiting the 30-year-old for next season.
However, Rugby Inside Line suggested yesterday on Twitter that the former England centre has turned down Championship leaders Bristol in favour of the Cherry and Whites.
