Rugby World Cup winner rumoured for I’m A Celebrity 2021

Returning to Wales once again, the reality show is back in the UK after the pandemic forced producers to abandon plans to head back to Australia.

The hugely popular show will be back at Gwrych Castle around the middle of November.

The last series of the programme was won by podcast host Giovanna Fletcher, but who will be crowned the king or queen of the castle this year?

Rugby World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson is in the potential contestant’s list once again, while Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing has been heavily rumoured to join this year’s series, Liverpool Live reports.

#1. Sporting family

Wilkinson’s brother, Mark, was also a Newcastle player who made 16 appearances in the Premiership for the side between 2002 and 2005, predominantly as a centre. His father, Phil, was a rugby player and cricketer, and his mother, Philippa, played squash at county level.  His grandfather, Phil, also played football for Norwich.
