RUMOUR | Another club join the race for Matt Kvesic

Exeter back-rower Matt Kvesic has been linked with a return to his former club Worcester Warriors, according to The Rugby Paper.

It’s been suggested that the England international, who has four caps, could depart Sandy Park this summer with the Devon club potentially struggling to fulfil the 27-year-old’s wage demands.

Kvesic had been linked with a move to Bristol Bears, but Pat Lam’s side have since confirmed the signing of Mitch Eadie from Northampton Saints for the 2020/21 season.

The talented open-side made his senior debut for Worcester in November 2009, featuring in an Anglo-Welsh Cup encounter against the Scarlets. In doing so, he became the youngest player to represent the Warriors in the professional era.

Kvesic stayed at Sixways until 2013, finishing his time at the club by being named as Player of the Year and Players’ Player during the 2012-13 campaign, before sealing a move to Gloucester before moving to Exeter Chiefs.
