Sale Sharks have announced the signing of Romanian Prop Forward Alexandru Tarus on a two-year contract.
Alexandru currently plays for Beziers in Pro2 and has represented Romania 16 times. He played twice in the 2015 World Cup against Ireland and Canada.

He made his International debut against Argentina Jaguars in June and most recently he played in the game against Georgia in March 2017.
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said: “Alexandru is a great signing for us, he can play on both sides of the scrum although he is a specialist tighthead.
“He is a big lad at 1.85m, weighing 125kg’s and he will, I am sure, fit perfectly at the Sharks.”
Alexandru, who was at Carrington today meeting his new team mates said: ” This is a great opportunity for me to play in the Premiership.
“I know Vadim Cobilas well and he told me what a great club Sale Sharks are to play for.”
