Sam Cane red card: The All Blacks’ captain was ejected from the World Cup final against the Springboks in Paris.
Initially, Cane was shown a yellow card by referee Wayne Barnes, but the decision was later escalated through the use of the video review system.
Consequently, he marked his name in history as the inaugural player to be sent off in a World Cup final.
One fan wrote: “Sorry but I can’t see Sam Cane coming back on. Much as I want him to.”
