Saracens stars give Premiership winners medals to stunned fans

Two Saracens fans are now the proud owner of Gallagher Premiership winner’s medals – after extraordinary acts of generosity from George Kruis and Will Skelton.

The 29-year-old England lock, out of nowhere, came up to the ‘special needs’ son of Sarries fan David Mitchell following the victory against Exeter Chiefs at Twickenham.

Mitchell posted the series events in the Sarries fan forum on Facebook.

He wrote: “A huge shoutout to George Kruis who freely and out of the blue, gave his winner’s medal to my ‘special needs’ son after the match on Saturday.

“I think you’ll agree it says everything about this incredible team of guys, we are so lucky to support.”

The comments below revealed that Australian powerhouse Skelton also gave his medal away to a young fan following the trophy presentation.
