Scotland international Cameron Redpath signs new Bath Rugby contract

Cameron Redpath has signed a new contract with Bath Rugby, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.

The Scotland international joined the Blue, Black and White from Sale Sharks in 2019 and has made 55 appearances.

The 24-year-old centre’s current contract was due to expire at the end of the season but he has now put pen to paper on a three-year extension.

Redpath said: “I am buzzing. It’s been a good couple of years since I joined. Obviously at the start of my career here it was a bit tough through injury and a few things that kept me on the sidelines for a while but the last year and a half for me has been really good. I am really enjoying my rugby, and enjoying the group that we’ve got here, whether that’s the coaches, the staff, the players and the fans. It’s a great place to be and I am loving it. I feel that we’ve got a really good chance of winning something, so I am really happy and really enjoying what we are building here.”

Head of Rugby Johann van Graan said: “Cam is a starting international centre, he has been brilliant for Bath Rugby the last number of years. He is injury-free and most importantly he’s formed a very good combination with players inside and outside of him. He is dependable and I trust Cam and he can become an all-time great player. I am so glad Cam will be staying at Bath.”

Redpath has won nine caps for Scotland having made his international debut in February 2021.
