Scotland player ratings vs Italy: 2023 Six Nations

10. Blair Kinghorn 9 – Three tries and stepped up excellently for absent Finn Russell. Muscled his way to score a good try on the half hour mark, and again shortly after half time. Breakaway try secured victory and kicked crucial points from the tee.

9. Ben White – 8 Superb as ever, and fired pinpoint passes all match

1. Pierre Schoeman: 8 – Cries of ‘Schoooooeeeee’ broke out across Murrayfield for every Schoeman carry, a big impact up front from the prop, entertaining Murrayfield with line breaks.

5. Jonny Gray – 7 Like Skinner, the engine room and emptied the tank for an hour.

6. Jamie Ritchie – 6 Scotland’s captain once again gave away yards from talking back to the referee, but was defensively solid and led Scotland well.
