Dan Thomas has joined URC side Scarlets on a two-week loan deal with immediate effect, the club can confirm.
The openside flanker has joined up with the Welsh region ahead of fixtures against Connacht and Leinster on October 21st and October 28th.
Director of Rugby, Pat Lam, said: “Scarlets are without a few back-row players and now that we are without a game this weekend, this is a great opportunity for Dan to get some additional gametime against two strong opponents.”
Thomas’ departure comes on the back of reports that free agent flanker Jack Willis could move to Ashton Gate following Wasps collapse.
Meanwhile, former Wasps powerhouse back-rower/hooker Alfie Barbeary could be playing in the Top 14 soon as Bordeaux Begles are now the favourites to sign him.
The Telegraph has also reported that discussions have been held with three Premiership clubs.
Leicester are also in talks to sign fly-half Charlie Atkinson, according to the same report.
