“Significant” – Bath issue worrying injury update on star man Finn Russell

Bath Rugby’s Head of Medical, Rory Murray, has issued an injury update ahead of this weekend’s fixture against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday 20 April.

CHRIS CLOETE

Chris remains unavailable for selection following a shoulder injury sustained in February.

TOM DE GLANVILLE

Tom is recovering from surgery following the foot fracture he sustained during the Leinster Rugby game in March. He will be sidelined for the remainder of April and May.

SAM HARRIS

Sam sustained an injury in training. He will be out for the remainder of the season.

Ted continues to be monitored on the chest injury he sustained in the Investec Champions Cup Round of 16 tie against Exeter Chiefs. A decision on his availability for the upcoming Gallagher Premiership fixture against Exeter will be made later in the week.

Cameron sustained significant ankle ligament damage in the Investec Champions Cup Round of 16 tie against Exeter Chiefs. His availability will be assessed weekly.

FINN RUSSELL

Finn suffered a significant groin injury in the Investec Champions Cup Round of 16 tie against Exeter Chiefs. His availability will be assessed weekly.

JOSH MCNALLY

Josh has returned to full training following a neck injury sustained in training.

GJ VAN VELZE

GJ has returned to full training after fracturing his thumb in the game against Bristol Bears at the end of January.
