Six Nations set to postpone final round of the Six Nations

The Six Nations committee has decided to postpone the last day of matches until Halloween, according to RUCK sources, as concerns ramp up around the coronavirus.

The games affected include Wales v Scotland and France v Ireland, and follows the disruption of Ireland’s clash against Italy and England’s trip to face the Italians in Rome.

A decision is due today, but it looks increasingly likely that the Paris match will not go ahead after the French government announced a ban on gatherings of over 1,000 people.

The number of Covid-19 cases in Europe has rapidly increased in recent days.

EDITORS PICKS:

In Italy, the worst-affected European country, 7,375 people have so far been confirmed to have contracted the virus, with an exclusion zone in the north of the country enforced on Monday.

In France, 19 deaths and 1,126 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded as of Sunday evening.

Eight times Sébastien Chabal just didn’t give a RUCK

Despite being one of the most popular players in the sport, France international Sébastien Chabal did occasionally hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

1. Chabal knockout punch

Chabal hit the headlines for this knockout blow on number eight Marc Giraud during the ProD2 match between Lyon and Agen in 2013. Giraud was carried off on a stretcher..

2. This try was INCREDIBLE

Just wow.

3. Got SMASHED by Jerry Collins

Got up like it was nothing
