Guardian on Hogg: "Another excellent Six Nations performance for the catalogue. Kept busy by England’s varied kicking game but coped well."
RTE Online on Conway: "Two tries in seven second-half minutes ended the game as a contest. The first of those was a supremely well taken effort that needed lots of finishing, luckily the Munster wing has the intelligence to know what to do in that situation. Also made 53 metres off five carries and didn't miss a tackle."

The Irish Times on Ringrose: "The Irish outside centre has again realised what a good player he is. Back to the confident ripping offensive runs and great to see it."

RTE Online on Furlong: "Superb for the first half, with and without ball in hand, even more impressive given his lack of game time recently. Was called ashore after 53 minutes with eyes on a bigger battle."

RTE Online on Ryan: "Intense effort from another lightly-raced thoroughbred, Ryan’s hard work allowed others to flourish. Made 11 tackles, second most in the team and claimed four lineouts."

- 7. Josh van der Flier (Ireland)
- 8. Matt Fagerson (Scotland)
Wales Online on Basham: "On a day when Wales struggled, Basham sparkled. Refused to bow to adversity and put in 20 tackles, 13 carries and made 28 metres. It was an effort that underlined once again that Wales have a gem in the young Dragon. A try crowned a valiant effort."
Planet Rugby on Fagerson: "Scotland’s best player on the day after being named man of the match. Towering with ball in hand and especially on defence."
