Squad Update: England name 36-man squad for Italy opener

England head coach Eddie Jones has named a 36-man squad that will convene at Pennyhill Park ahead of the opening NatWest 6 Nations match against Italy.

England begin the defence of their title in Rome at 3pm GMT on Sunday 4 February in a game that is live on ITV.

Following last week’s training camp in Portugal, 34 players have been retained. James Haskell (Wasps) and Joe Marler (Harlequins) will also join up with the squad, however both are unavailable for selection due to suspension.
