The Ireland squad departed this morning for a training camp in Oliva Nova in southern Spain and will return to Ireland on Friday.
David Kilcoyne picked up a knee injury yesterday and is being reviewed by the medical team at Munster. As a result James Cronin has been added to the Ireland squad.
Cronin was first capped in 2014 on the summer tour to Argentina and picked up two subsequent caps in the 2015 and 2016 Six Nations.
Joe Schmidt and Rory Best will attend Wednesday’s 6 Nations media launch at Syon Park in London.
