“State of the Art” Premier League Football Stadium To Host 2024 Champions & Challenge Cup Finals

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been confirmed as the host venue for the 2024 Heineken Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup Finals. The state of the art stadium is one of the UK’s newest and most modern capacity grounds, having first opened it’s doors in April 2019.

In it’s short life, the 62,850 capacity stadium has already hosted some of English rugby’s brightest stars. Just last month, Saracens and Harlequins took to Spurs’ home ground for ‘The Showdown 3’. The London derby went down a storm with the fans, as over 55,000 supporters packed themselves into the ground for the match.

The stadium is also perfectly equipped for live match broadcasting, and certainly delivered for the aforementioned London clash. A Premiership record-breaking audience of 1.156m people tuned in to watch Saracens defeat Quins by 36-24. The stage is set for the pinnacle competition in European club rugby, with the EPRC Challenge Cup and the Heineken Champions Cup Finals taking place on May 24th and 25th.

“It is quite simply one of the most exciting venues in the world and an incredibly appropriate stage for next year’s showpiece finals weekend,” said Dominic McKay, chairman of the EPCR.

“EPCR has a proud history of taking its finals weekend to new cities and arenas with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the latest in a list of cutting-edge venues.
