STATEMENT: England international signs new deal with Bath RFC

Charlie Ewels have signed a new contract that will extend his stay with Bath Rugby until the summer of 2027.

The England international has come through the club’s Academy and made 155 first team appearances for the Blue, Black and White.

The 28-year-old lock’s current contract was due to expire at the end of the season but he has now put pen to paper on a three-year extension.

“I’m delighted to be staying. It’s a really exciting time at the club and a really exciting place to be at the moment.”

“It’s somewhere I’ve spent my whole career and it’s the right place for me to be for the next three years. The ultimate goal is to win things, it’s the easiest thing to say but the hardest thing to do. There’s a squad that’s been together for a period of time now and shared some pretty tough experiences together, so I want that group of players to share winning together.”
