Statement: Saracens confirm the departure of THIRD and final Vunipola

Saracens have announced today that Manu Vunipola will depart the club at the end of the season to pursue a new opportunity.

The 24-year-old fly-half, who emerged from Saracens’ academy, has amassed an impressive 77 appearances during his tenure.

Vunipola made his debut as a teenager in 2019, and has had an incredible journey in North London, winning two Premiership titles, a Championship trophy and the Champions Cup.

He has represented England at both Under 18s and Under 20s level, underlining his huge potential moving forward.

Manu had these words for everyone at Saracens.

“My time at this wonderful club is coming to an end this summer and I just wanted to thank everyone for all their help and support throughout my time here.

“I started as a young 14 year old in the academy and can proudly say I’ve played a senior game for this team which was always a dream of mine.

“I’m so thankful for the memories I’ve made here, so thankful to the players who’ve helped me past and present and to the fans who have been patient with me and supported me, thank you.

“I leave with so many great memories from my time here and I hope we can finish with a trophy this year.”

Judge, renowned for his contributions to Saracens, is set to embrace a fresh challenge with Pro D2 outfit Beziers.

The 31-year-old, who has donned jerseys for various clubs including Launceston, Plymouth Albion, and Worcester Warriors, expressed gratitude for his time at Saracens while eagerly anticipating the prospects in France.

“To have been given the opportunity to represent Saracens again is one I’m incredibly grateful for,” he told the club’s official webiste.

“I’d like to take this moment to thank all of the coaches, staff, my fellow team mates, and everyone involved with the club for making my experience an enjoyable one. I’d also like to thank all of the fans for their unwavering support.

“As a club, we have a big few months ahead and hopefully we can end on a high. For me personally, I’m excited for a new challenge in France and all it has in store!”
