Steve Diamond, who had been bidding to buy Worcester until the club went out of business in October, is set to begin his new role as a consultant for Edinburgh on Monday.
The former Sale boss has been appointed on a contract that runs until the end of the season.
According to The Rugby Paper, Bath, currently languishing at the bottom of the Premiership table, may be seeking to bolster their coaching staff.
With a track record for shaking things up, Diamond could be just the person to inject some new energy into the Rec squad, which has suffered defeat in 12 out of 16 games this season.
