Strange incident between teammates Stuart Hogg and Henry Slade goes viral

Exeter Chiefs were made to work right until the final whistle to secure a narrow 20-15 Christmas Eve Premiership win over Bath at a blustery Sandy Park.

One strange moment came following Henry Slade’s try as Stuart Hogg tried to ‘wipe the smile’ off his teammates face.

Joe Cokanasiga’s early Bath score gave the visitors an early before tries from Dave Ewers and Henry Slade, combined with 10 points from the boot of Joe Simmonds’ 10 gave Chiefs the advantage at half-time

Bath were much improved after the break, and were rewarded when Niall Annett mauled over for a try to set up a grandstand finish..

They kept the home side scoreless, but were unable to further breach the line.
