Danny Cipriani is one of the most exciting rugby players to watch ever. Here, he runs the rule over the backline he thinks would entertain for the Lions this summer.
Speaking at an event in 2020, prior to his Gloucester exit, the experienced playmaker turned selector and had a go at picking his Lions backline.
“I’m expecting three really good games,” said Cipriani, who signed with Bath this week.
“If the Lions can keep their heads and their discipline then I expect them to win through.
“They have the pace and the power to hurt South Africa and I wouldn’t be surprised if they won 3-0.”
