Posolo Tuilagi is the latest destructive export from the Tuilagi production line, a family that seems genetically engineered for collisions. Son of former Samoa international Henry Tuilagi, Posolo has taken the dynasty north to France, where he has already become a Test lock for Les Bleus while still in the early chapters of his career.
At Perpignan, he is less “second-row forward” and more “rolling natural disaster.” His carries bend defensive lines, his tackles echo around stadiums, and his mere presence seems to compress time and space. Unlike many giants, he moves well, hits rucks with bad intentions, and looks frighteningly comfortable at Test level.
