All good things must come to an end, or so the old saying goes.
With Saracens being relegated to the English second-tier, a number of players have already left the club, but there is still plenty business to be done.
Here are five Sarries players who could still depart Allianz Park before the start of the 2020/21 season.
1. Alex Lewington
With Saracens urgently trying to reduce their wage bill, Tigers, who now have only four wingers, should attempt to bring the speedster back to Welford Road.
He departed Tigers in 2013 as a lightweight winger who had failed to make his mark after progressing through the clubs academy.
Since then, he's bulked up a bit but kept his speed, developing into one of the Premiership's most deadly finishers for Saracens, who he joined following successful stints with Nottingham and London Irish.
Bringing him back to Welford Road would be a great piece of business.
2. Michael Rhodes
A tough-tackling, durable back rower, the back rower is reportedly out of contract in the summer.
He moved across to England with Sarries ahead of the 2015/16 season and he contributed immensely to the club’s success that season. The South African produced countless impressive performances and started both the Premiership and Champions Cup final – the latter the first ever European title in Saracens’ history.
The following season Rhodes starred for the Wolfpack as they retained their European crown and he was recognised by his teammates, winning Players’ Player of the Year.
He'd be a great signing for any Premiership club with London Irish and Sale Sharks previously linked to the South African.
3. Richard Wigglesworth
A deal to take the scrum-half back to Sale Sharks as a player-coach was cancelled earlier in the season, according to The Rugby Paper.
The scrum-half, who won 33 England caps between 2008 and 2018, could now be set to stay in the capital despite Saracens relegation following the salary cap scandal.
However, there is still significant interest from Championship high-flyers Ealing, where Wigglesworth already coaches, and newly promoted Newcastle Falcons.
4. Calum Clark
The North East-born 30-year-old England international joined Saracens in the summer of 2017, making his first appearance against Sale Sharks.
Thought by many to be joining London Irish ahead of the 2020/21 Gallagher Premiership season.
5. Rhys Carré
The prop is considered a smart operator defensively, around the breakdown and at set-piece time as well as an explosive ball carrier. Carré is fully expected to return to Wales in order to continue his promising international career.
