Exeter Chiefs are closing in on the signing of Toulon forward Xavier Chiocci.
Chiocci, the French prop, has been linked with a switch to Sandy Park in the last week, and the deal for the 28-year-old is reportedly close, according to Rugby Gold.
He has made over 100 appearances for Toulon since coming through the clubs academy and has won 10 caps for France.
The Chiefs, who released two new kits for the forthcoming season yesterday, have only confirmed two new additions so far with Wales international Alex Cuthbert joining from Cardiff Blues and Puma’s fullback Santiago Cordero signing a long-term deal.
