TRANSFER NEWS | Dragons confirm departures, including Wales star

Dragons Rugby have confirmed the players who will leave the region when their contracts expire at the conclusion of the 2019/20 season.

Long-serving back row Nic Cudd and centre Tyler Morgan will depart alongside hooker Rhys Lawrence, fly half Jacob Botica and back row James SheekeyCory Hill was also announced as departing in April to join Cardiff Blues.

Dragons Academy squad members Dafydd BucklandWill GriffithsTom Hoppe and James McCarthy will also leave Dragons.

Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby, said: “We thank all the players for their hard work and professionalism during their time at the region.

“All the players leave with our very best wishes for their future ambitions in rugby or away from the game.”


British & Irish Lions predicted 2021 starting XV according to the bookies

Although it’s about a year until Warren Gatland picks his Lions squad, the public has already started talking about who will make it onto the plane and who will line-up in the first Test against South Africa.

Gatland has spoken publicly about his team but has given little away as he continues to ponder over big selection decisions.
