Clermont have signed Harlequins second-row George Merrick, who will be leaving the Premiership club at the end of the season.
Lock Merrick joined the club’s Academy in 2011, made his senior Harlequins debut in 2013 and has since played 92 games for the Stoop side.
Clermont are currently sitting top of the table in the Top 14 and also riding high in the Challenge Cup while Quins sit fourth in the Premiership.
