England speedster Jonny May admitted his future is up in the air at Welford Road after inspiring Leicester to victory over Bristol at the weekend.
Tigers’ Premiership worries were eased by their England stars as they beat the Bears 31-18.
But following the game May, who has been linked with moves to Harlequins and Saracens, addressed his contract situation.
May said: “It’s never nice to leave a club. I have done it before. It’s not a nice thing to do, but if I feel I need to do that I would.
“I don’t want to talk about contracts, but it’s still up in the air for me.”
May revealed some of the factors he will take into consideration, sayimg: “Are you offered a good contract? Are you even offered a contract? Where’s best for your development? Where’s best for your happiness? It’s the same as any job.”
