Fox Sports are reporting that Quade Cooper could be heading for Japan after the shock call from coach Brad Thorn that he will not be starting at flyhalf for the Queensland Reds next season.
The gifted game-controller has played his last game for the Reds after a mesmerising 117-game career because the unofficial hint is that he is free to explore other career options with two years left to run on his contract.
Cooper, who has been linked with Sale Sharks thie year, will be able to look at options at clubs overseas after Thorn told him he had tumbled down the pecking order in their key positions.

This includes Australia’s Olympic gold medal-winning sevens star Charlotte Caslick, who felt so strongly about Cooper being marginalised for no reason that the devoted Reds fan took to Twitter with her dismay.
