Bath have reportedly made a move to sign two Saracens players following the clubs relegation.
The Daily Telegraph reports Bath have won the race to sign England international Ben Spencer on loan next season while The Rugby Paper suggests Exeter Chiefs, Newcastle Falcons and Northampton Saints were also interested.
Spencer, who has an eye for a gap and sharp turn of pace was called up for England’s 2018 tour of South Africa, coming off the bench in the first Test and has since appeared in the Six Nations and the Rugby World Cup.
Meanwhile TRP also suggests Bath are also leading Waps in the chase to sign Saracens centre Alex Lozowski, having allowed Jamie Roberts to join Stormers this month.
The versatile England international joined the Men in Black as a fly-half from Wasps in 2016 and has since featured in a number of positions including centre and wing.
A natural playmaker with an abundance of attacking talent, he’d add a lot of dynamism to the Bath attack if he does arrive at The Rec this summer.
