Newcastle Falcons’ star centre Juan Pablo Socino is reportedly a wanted man both sides of the border.
Socino, who was signed from Rotherham Titans back in 2014, but has proven to be yet another Championship gem, is reported to be wanted by both Aviva Premiership side Bath and Pro 14 outfit Edinburgh Rugby.
The Blindside rugby transfer rumour column is reporting Bath are winning the race to add him to their already exciting backline, but Richard Cockerill, the Edinburgh director of rugby is making a late bid to sign the Argentina international.
Juan Pablo Socino, 29, has played four tests for the Pumas, all coming in 2015. He featured twice at the Rugby World Cup that year.
