Transfer Rumours: Gloucester linked with two scrum-halves

Gloucester are looking to the Championship for a new scrum-half.

With Ben Vellacott expected to leave for Wasps, it is thought the Cherry and Whites have shown an interest in Doncaster’s Tom James and Jersey’s Will Homer to fill the third scrum-half berth alongside Willi Heinz and Callum Braley next season.

According to Rugby Inside Line, a Twitter account that publishes rugby rumours, James will be the man to move to Kingsholm as they claim Gloucester have beaten Wasps and Newcastle to his signature.

Meanwhile, Homer is also understood to be a target for Gloucester though as reported by The Rugby Paper, who claim that Wasps are in the running as well.
