Transfer Rumours: Hartpury set to make most high-profile signing in their history
Hartpury are in talks with former Gloucester favourite Akapusi Qera as they bid to pull off the most high-profile signing in their history, according to Gloucestershire Live.
The Fiji captain is currently a free agent and looks set to return to Gloucestershire to get some games under his belt and build up some form ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Explosive number eight Qera spent seven years at Gloucester, being voted the fans’ player of the season in 2009-10, before joining Toulouse in 2014.
The 34-year-old spent four years in France, where he also played for Montpellier, but hasn’t played since leaving Agen at the end of last season and Hartpury have moved to acquire his services.
