Leicester Tigers are reportedly close to confirming the signing of Argentina international scrum-half Felipe Ezcurra on a short-term contract to provide cover for Ben Youngs.
The England scrum-half had to pull out of the latest training camp with a minor heel problem.
Ezcurra, who plays for the Jaguares in Super Rugby, will join the club until December on a short-term deal, according to America Rugby News.
Aged 25, Ezcurra has three caps for Argentina. They both came in 2014 with him facing Chile and Uruguay. His brother, Bautista Ezcurra, is also a Puma. He made his test debut this year against Scotland and currently has 4 test caps.
