Scotland star Stuart Hogg’s is reportedly attracting the interest on a Premiership club with the fullback’s current contract set to expire in 2019.
The 26-year-old. who had been linked with a sensational £1m per season move to Montpellier, is now being eyed by Exeter Chiefs according to The Rugby Paper with the Chiefs keen to lure him to Devon.
He would be a replacement for Phil Dollman, who is in his testimonial year and will turn 34 before the end of the current campaign.
Borderer Hogg, a two-time British and Irish Lion, has spent his entire professional career at Glasgow, and current boss Dave Rennie says he ‘wants to stay’ at the club
“We’re keen to keep him here long term and those discussions are going on,” Rennie told BBC Scotland.
“He’s probably the highest-profile player in Scotland. I’d imagine there will be a number of big clubs who will target someone of his ability.
The fullback has scored 18 tries in 62 Tests for Scotland, and was voted Six Nations Player of the Championship in both 2016 and 2017.
