Despite their ongoing issues surrounding salary cap breaches and their impending relegation to the RFU Championship, Saracens are reportedly closing in on three new players.
Sarries announced the capture of Fijian Eroni Maw yesterday and are now targeting three more.
According to rugby transfer rumour gurus, Rugby Inside Line, the reigning Premiership champions will recruit three Championship stars ahead of their season in the English second tier.

We are hearing…
Harry Sloan (centre) – Ealing —> Saracens
Alec Clarey (tighthead prop) – Jersey —> Saracens
Janco Venter (flanker, 25 caps 🇳🇦) Jersey —> Saracens
THREE CHAMPIONSHIP players linked to the Premiership champions!
Their first target is Ealing centre Harry Sloan, who played for England at Under 20 level with nine caps over a two year period from 2012 to 2014, winning the World Cup alongside the likes of Maro Itoje.
The 25-year-old, who stands at 6ft 1in, would add some power to the Sarries midfield as they prepare for life without Brad Barritt, who is expected to leave in the summer.
Jersey duo Alec Clarey and Janco Venter are the other two players linked with a move to London-club.
Clarey is an abrasive tighthead prop while Nambia international flanker Venter, who represented his country at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, is a menace around the breakdown.
