Wasps could bring in a coach from rugby league this Summer.
According to reliable journalist Jon Newcombe in The Rugby Paper, Salford City Reds assistant coach Martin Gleeson is their prime target.
Gleeson was a centre capped 20 times by Great Britain and six times by England. In a 15-year rugby league career he played for St Helens, Wigan Warriors and Salford before retiring five years ago.
If he came to the Premiership he would be following in the footsteps of fellow rugby league name Sean Long, who has joined Paul Gustard’s team at Harlequins.
