World Rugby have announced the four nominees for try of the year and two sublime Six Nations scores are on the shortlist.
Sean Maitland finishing off a fine team move from Scotland against England makes the cut, as does CJ Stander’s impressive effort at Twickenham as Ireland sealed the Grand Slam.
Joining those two efforts are two All Blacks tries that both came against the Wallabies in this year’s Rugby Championship.
The first came in Sydney in the first clash as Brodie Retallick dummied his way through the Australian defence and the second at Eden Park when Beauden Barrett ended a sweeping end to end counter attack.
