Wales 13-6 Georgia rugby result: A youthful Wales claim a narrow win

Wales bounced back from last week’s loss to Australia by claiming a 13-6, if under-whelming, victory over Georgia at the Principality Stadium.

Warren Gatland’s experimental team established a 10-0 lead through winger Hallam Amos’ try.

But Georgia refused to buckle and were within four points after 50 minutes thanks to full-back Soso Matiashvili’s boot.

Fly-half Rhys Priestland’s second penalty calmed the host’s nerves, but Georgia were pressing right up until the final whistle with Wales prop Tomas Francis in the sin-bin.
