Wales name team for second Test against the All Blacks

  • Warren Gatland makes two changes as Wales face New Zealand in the second test on Saturday: 08;35am kick-off
  • Luke Charteris replaces Bradley Davies in the second row while Rhys Patchell is in at full-back
  • Liam Williams moves onto the wing to replace the injured George North
Wales go into the match on the back of the most humiliating result of Gatland’s reign after they were thumped by the Chiefs’ second-string side in the coach’s home city of Hamilton

Rhys Patchell, who only flew out to New Zealand after the first Test, will start at full-back.

Liam Williams shifts to the wing, a move that wasn’t completely unexpected, to replace the injured George North.

Wales, beaten 39-21 by New Zealand at Eden Park, are looking for a first win over the All Blacks since 1953.

Warren Gatland’s side were also humiliated 40-7 by the Chiefs on Tuesday.
