England set to play Wales three times in 2019

Wales Online have reported that England and Wales will clash three times in 2019, with home and away warm-up matches pencilled in ahead of next year’s Rugby World Cup.

The outspoken Eddie Jones, whose controversial pops at Wales skipper Alun Wyn Jones and Rhys Patchell ahead of last weekend’s Six Nations clash ignited the old rivalry between the two teams, has a 4-0 win record over Warren Gatland since taking charge of the Red Rose.

Wales host England at the Principality Stadium during next year’s Six Nations but Jones men are reportedly returning to Cardiff ahead of the global showpiece in Japan.

Wales are also set to take on Jones’ side at Twickenham in fixtures which replicate the run-up to the 2011 World Cup.
