  • Uncapped scrum-half Williams is called in as injury cover following Rhys Webb’s injury
Wales have called Cardiff Blues backs Cory Allen and Tomos Williams into their squad as they prepare for this week’s clash with Argentina.

Allen, who has four caps, links up with the squad after Dragons centre Tyler Morgan was released from the squad due to a hamstring injury.

Uncapped scrum-half Williams is called as injury cover following Rhys Webb’s injury against Australia at Principality Stadium on Saturday.

A statement from Wales, who lost 32-8 to the Wallabies, added: “Medical update on injuries will be made following further assessment.”

Wales expect full-back Liam Williams lock Jake Ball to return from injury ahead of Saturday’s November international against Argentina.

The Scarlets duo missed Wales’ 32-8 defeat by Australia on Saturday.
