STUART BARNES: “Cardiff is not a city that intimidates any more. England will miss Mako Vunipola and Maro Itoje but Wales will miss the running power of Taulupe Faletau even more.”

SIR CLIVE WOODWARD: “This could be a classic in Cardiff,” says Woodward. “The winner will wake up tomorrow morning and realise they are set for a special World Cup year while the losers will look beatable in the eyes of all future opponents.

“Wales are on an amazing 11-match unbeaten run and England have had a huge bounce-back from 2018 and both are led by excellent coaches playing themselves into contention for the World Cup. Both could win that tournament, so this is set up perfectly.”
