Wales vs England player ratings: 2021 Guinness Six Nations

Our Wales vs England player ratings… as Wales romped home in a fine second half performance after a controversial first period.

Wales beat England 40-24 to take the Triple Crown in Cardiff on Saturday; the home side were 17-14 up at half time after two controversial tries for Josh Adams and Liam Williams were awarded by French referee Pascal Gauzere.

Anthony Watson replied for England before the break but Ben Youngs’ try is all the visitors could muster in the second half as Kieran Hardy and Cory Hill each scored a try for the home side.

Callum Sheedy’s boot sealed a bonus point win and Wales’ highst points tally of the Six Nations so far, on the back of wins over Ireland and Scotland.

RUCK’S MAN OF THE MATCH: Taulupe Faletau

Not a typical eye-catching performance but was Faletau was always involved and his contribution of 112 metres from 18 ball carries, plus a huge shift in defence, won’t have gone unnoticed by his team mates.
