The Welsh Rugby Union will once again prohibit the performance of “Delilah” by choirs at the Principality Stadium during the 2024 Six Nations.

The ban follows allegations of sexism, racism, and misogyny within the organisation last year.
The Welsh anthem, about a jealous lover stabbing his unfaithful partner, will not be sung during the Six Nations, which includes games against Ireland and England.
According to The Telegraph, the Welsh Rugby officials have instructed choirs not to perform the ballad after a video of the Guernsey Welsh male voice choir rehearsing it was shown by ITV News.
A Principality Stadium spokesman said: “Delilah will not feature on the playlist for choirs for rugby internationals at Principality Stadium.
“Guest choirs have also more recently been requested not to feature the song during their pre-match performances and throughout games.
“The WRU condemns domestic violence of any kind.
“We have previously sought advice from subject matter experts on the issue of censoring the song and we are respectfully aware that it is problematic and upsetting to some supporters because of its subject matter.”
