Warrington Wolves have crossed codes with the capture of former England International centre Luther Burrell from Rugby Union side Northampton Saints until November 2021.
The explosive, 6ft 3, 17 stone, Burrell will add depth across a number of positions in the backline and back row. Burrell will join the Wire from July 1, once the Union season comes to an end.

The 31-year-old signed for Northampton in 2012 with over 150 club appearances to date including a starting place in the Aviva Premiership Final against Leicester Tigers in his first year followed by the European Challenge Cup and the Aviva Premiership trophy season of 2013/14. He previously pulled on the Union jersey for Leeds Carnegie, 2009, and Sale Sharks, 2011.
Burrell has also represented England. He toured Argentina in 2013 and New Zealand for a Test series in 2014. He was also as part of the 2014 and 2015 Six Nations, scoring on debut, and the summer tour of Australia in 2016.
