England and Wasps scrum-half Dan Robson faces three to four weeks of tests before they begin to solve his blood clotting issue.
“It is quite rare and is something that has to be respected and looked after and obviously that’s a process he is in at this moment in time. It’s a bit of a shock, he hadn’t been feeling ill or anything like that.
Wasps Dan Robson diagnosed w/ DVT (blood clot) after complaining of leg pain, treated quickly to prevent serious complications (pulmonary embolism – clot travels to lungs). Typically treated by blood thinners, +/- filter. Many causes, including immobility, trauma, surgery.#wasps pic.twitter.com/vIJDZK7Qkf

“I’ve spoken to him on the phone and he is about here today. He’s fairly limited about what he can do at this moment in time so he is just going to tick over.
“He’s in good spirits.
