Wasps star signing COULD be heading home according to reports

Wasps could be on the verge of losing fullback Willie le Roux despite him only joining the club back in February, according to Neil Fissler in The Rugby Paper.

Like Kurtley Beale, who left Dai Youngs men during the summer, the Springbok is under real pressure to return home to help his countries preparation ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The fact South Africa chief Allistair Coetzee is predominantly picking home-based players also means Roux is in serious danger of potentially missing next years showpiece tournament in Japan unless he makes a return.

If Wasps fail to keep him at the Ricoh Arena, it will be a major blow to Young’s plans as they chase a first Premiership tile since 2008

It would also add insult to injury as Wasps already have a number of high-profile players out of contract at the end of the season, including; Danny Cipriani, James Haskell and Joe Simpson.
